By the way...

I studied industrial logistics at the Technical University of Košice, but it was clear to me early on that it wasn't going to be my career. I started as a front-end developer, cutting static templates for a friend, and only later dared to offer my services to others. Over time, design, graphics, and UX followed. Back then, everything was done in Photoshop and UX was still in its infancy. Right after university, I went freelance because I knew this was my path. Through smaller projects I made my way to Simplia, where I spent 10 years and where everything really came together. 🎨

Outside of work, sport has been a constant companion. More of a casual hobby, but I enjoy it. Mostly cycling 🚴, and when there was more time, hiking and hockey too. Now, when time and kids allow, I try to run. And for the past 5+ years, a few of us brave souls have been cold-water plunging through the coldest months. Anyone who knows Stratená and that it's one of the coldest areas in Slovakia can imagine 🥶. No still waters, just a stream and pure extremes.

Free time belongs to family. I have two sons and that's the best thing I do in life. ❤️ And then there's Charlie, our Manchester Terrier 🐕, who also gets plenty of time and love.

Gaming was never really my thing, probably because I spend enough time behind a screen at work. But I'm an information geek. Documentaries, tech deep-dives, overviews of what's new in the field and way beyond it. If something catches my attention, I'll look it up. In the evenings I like to unwind with TV 📺. Good series, films, anything that makes sense. With the rise of AI, I've also started enjoying experimentation. Not just at work, but in my personal life too, where it often serves as an assistant on my phone or with various technologies.

And then there's cooking. Life taught me how to cook and it became a hobby. My favorite is Asian cuisine 🍜. Pho soups, stir-fried noodles, rice, everything in that style. At family and social events, I'm automatically nominated as the chef. If I had a third life, I'd probably go into gastronomy.
